Our terms at a glance
No cure, no pay Our commission is a percentage agreed in advance, calculated on the amount we actually collect or the value of goods returned. (Art. 4.1)
Legal action only with your consent We only start legal proceedings or bring in third parties such as lawyers or bailiffs after you've given written approval. (Art. 2.6)
Regular payouts Collected funds are paid out to you monthly or every 14 days, in the currency they were received in (EUR, GBP or USD). (Art. 5.1–5.2)
Confidentiality Information you share with us stays confidential. We don't disclose it to third parties unless you authorise it or the law requires it. (Art. 2.4)
Dutch law applies Our agreements are governed by Dutch law. (Art. 6.1)

Frequently asked questions
They apply to all agreements between CMC and its clients, including follow-up assignments. Deviating agreements only apply if CMC has confirmed them in writing. (Art. 2.3, 2.12)
Let us know within 10 business days. This keeps your case up to date and prevents unnecessary follow-up. If we're not notified in time, a 5% surcharge may apply. (Art. 4.4)
Costs of (pre-)legal measures, such as court fees, lawyers, bailiffs and investigators, are passed on to you, plus a 10% handling fee per third-party cost, with a one-off minimum start-up fee of €200. We never take legal steps without your written consent. (Art. 2.6, 4.5)
Send it to us in writing within 8 days of discovering the reason for the complaint, and no later than 14 days after the work has been completed. (Art. 3.1)
Yes. If you withdraw an assignment, CMC is entitled to the agreed commission on the full amount of the debt. (Art. 4.3)
