Why do companies outsource their accounts receivable to CMC

  • Your customer relationships come first. Your customers are not a case file; they are relationships you want to keep. We follow up on invoices firmly but respectfully, true to our motto: focus on results, care for customer relationships. We do this in your company's name (white label), so your customers experience one consistent brand.
  • Global reach. Our in-house native speakers contact your customers in their own language, covering 130+ countries. Wherever your customers are based, you have one partner for all your receivables.
  • A personal approach. Your customers speak with a person, not an automated reminder system. And you work with a team that gets to know your organisation, keeps you informed from day one, and feels like remote colleagues.
  • Tailor-made. No standard package. From a few reminder calls to managing your entire accounts receivable process: you choose the scope, and we adapt to your systems, processes, and tone of voice.

How we work

Once we have agreed on an approach based on your needs, we get to work, fully focused on your receivables. From day one, you have insight into progress through real-time reporting, and within a month, we conduct a first evaluation together. These close exchanges help us get to know your organisation, so we can work as a true extension of your team. Every team member, from credit controller to team coach, is trained and kept up to date through our in-house credit control academy. If an invoice remains unpaid despite our follow-up, our debt collection service can take over.

One partner, no handover to a new provider.

What we can take off your hands

  • Payment reminders and follow-up. Calling and emailing your customers about invoices that are due or overdue.
  • Dispute management. Finding out why an invoice is not paid, and solving it together with your customer.
  • The full accounts receivable process. From invoice follow-up to reporting, handled entirely by CMC.

Frequently asked questions

Accounts receivable is the money customers owe a business for goods or services that have been delivered but not yet paid for. It arises when you invoice on payment terms, for example 30, 60 or 90 days. On the balance sheet it is a current asset. Its opposite is accounts payable: the money your business owes to its own suppliers.

In practice, largely yes. Credit control is the term often used in the UK for managing and following up customer invoices. At CMC, both cover the same service: making sure your invoices are paid on time.

Accounts receivable management is about following up open invoices from the moment they are issued, so they are paid on time and the relationship with your customer stays good. Debt collection starts when an invoice remains unpaid and needs a firmer approach. CMC offers both, so an invoice can move from one to the other without switching providers.

No. Our accounts receivable service is always white label: we contact your customers in your company's name, so for them it feels as if your own team is in touch.

Dedicated credit controllers, part of our native-speaking teams and supported by coordinators and team coaches. All of them are trained through our in-house credit control academy.

Through real-time reporting on your portfolio, and regular evaluations with your team. The first evaluation takes place within a month.

We evaluate the results with you, and you decide whether to continue. The trial is free and without obligation; no subscription is activated automatically.
